A cancelled flight, ocean waves, and a whole lot of espresso.
(In other words, my Spring Break!!)
Hello everybody and happy Sunday! Goodness gracious, this week has been outlandish. Three midterms, two papers, and needing to wake up at 5 am two days in a row to study has left me physically, emotionally, and mentally drained.
But then the weekend came as it always does and I got to sleep and relax — pretty well deserved, I’d say. 😉
For those of you who don’t know, us college kids just got off Spring Break. It always goes by so quickly, doesn’t it? We are in the home stretch though, friends, as summer break is only a short month and a half away. For me, Spring Break made me reeeeeally ready for summer, especially because I spent the break in the Fort Lauderdale sunshine.
My trip was fantastic — I enjoyed the best of both worlds. I spent half of the week with my momma and sister and the other half with my galfriends. Both halves were wonderful and the weather stuck it out! The only time it rained was when we went to see a movie in the theatre (The Shack — you have to see it!) and the rest of the time was sunshine and sand in between my toes.
Getting to Florida was easy enough (besides my having to fly while overcoming the flu), but getting home was a hectic adventure. If you’re interested in hearing more about it and catching a glimpse of what I did on my break, check out my vlog below!
Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoyed 🙂 I thank God for vitamin D, good eats, great conversations and everything in between.
See you next week!
